A warm hearted modern comedy by Peter Gordon, set on a slightly past-its-best English seaside caravan site. Expect nosey neighbours, clashing personalities, secret struggles, and a communal barbecue that goes spectacularly wrong. Packed with laugh-out-loud moments and touching scenes.

We’re incredibly proud that The Curtain Callers have been able to support some truly fantastic charities through our retirement collections over the years. Thanks to the amazing generosity of our audiences, we’ve raised substantial amounts for some very worthy causes.
For our next production, Janet Clark is directing “Third Week in August” – a brilliantly funny comedy by Peter Gordon – and has chosen The Big Space Cancer Appeal to benefit from our performances. The Big Space Cancer Appeal – help us transform cancer care in Gloucestershire. Many of the current facilities are over 25 years old and a new modern building is needed to care for future generations.
The first phase of the project is to build a new space at Cheltenham General Hospital to improve the environment inside and out for patients and staff. There will be modern consulting rooms complete with new digital technology, space for innovation and research trials as well as a new therapeutic garden.
We’d love your support for both this wonderful charity and our drama group. Come along for a great evening of laughter while helping us make a difference!
